Swim and exercise in the fresh air at Mounger Pool in Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood, opening for the summer season Saturday. Mounger has two pools, a Big Pool with lap swim lanes and 50-foot corkscrew slide, and a warmer, shallow Little Pool. Along with public swims, swimming lessons and lap swims, the pool offers fitness classes: Deep Water Exercise using resistance equipment for toning and strengthening, 11 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and 8 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; and Shallow Water Exercise aerobic workout set to music for a total body workout, 11 a.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
