Pedal past tulip fields on scenic 20-, 40- or 60-mile loops between Mount Vernon and La Conner Saturday, with snacks and rest stops. Proceeds from the ride benefit the Skagit County Medic One Safe Kids injury prevention program. Registration is available from 7 a.m. to noon at La Conner Middle School, 503 N. Sixth St., La Conner. You can preregister for $30 or pay $35 on the day of the ride. It’s free for those 14 and younger. The course is open until 4 p.m. on ride day.
