Take a walk on public stairways Saturday in Seattle, Bellevue and Burien as described in the guidebook, “Seattle Stairway Walks” by local Feet First Neighborhood Walking ambassadors Jake and Cathy Jaramillo. Urban explorer guides talk about local history and green spaces on walks that include downtown, Fremont, Golden Gardens, Lakewood/Seward Park, Mercer Island, Bellevue’s Kelsey Creek and Burien’s Eagle Landing Park. Feet First sponsors the event as part of its ongoing projects promoting walkable communities. Admission is free, preregistration is required and a few of the 15 stairway walks are already full. Information and registration: feetfirst.org or 206-652-2310, ext. 5.
