One healthful thing we love
Work off those Thanksgiving calories at some weekend walk/run events, such as the Green Lake Gobble and Seattle's Turkey Trot.
Work off some of Thursday's big feast and help local charities at several run/walk events, starting with the Green Lake Gobble 10K & 5K Sunday, Nov. 18, to benefit Union Gospel Mission. Day of race registration opens at 8 a.m. for the 9:30 a.m. event, $40-$45; other festivities include a free Tiny Turkey Trot for ages 12 and younger at 9:10 a.m. and post-race celebration with beer garden and Mashed Potato Munch Off eating contest (206-729-9972 or www.promotionevents.com/Thanksgiving).
