Swing, waltz and salsa outdoors at Dancing 'Til Dusk dances through August. All are free, including beginning dance lessons for all ages in the featured dance style the first hour of each event, no experience or partner required. This week: swing 6-9:30 Tuesday at Westlake Park, 401 Pine St.; waltz, swing and fox trot Thursday, Freeway Park, 600 Seneca St.; and salsa Saturday at Occidental Park, 250 Occidental Ave. S., Seattle. This week's music is all by DJs, with live music at some upcoming events including tango Aug. 9 and Zydeco Aug. 14, along with more swing and salsa, through Aug. 3l. Events are on a portable dance floor, so wear clean shoes that slide and don't mark floors. Dances may be canceled for inclement weather; check the Rain Hotline, 206-264-5646 or www.danceforjoy.biz.
