Local wolf pack coming to Discovery Channel Saturday

The Methow Valley's Lookout Pack of wolves has been documented by the BBC, in a broadcast coming to local channels this weekend.

The wolves have been enjoying international exposure in the documentary, which has already aired in the UK. "Man vs. Wolf" investigates wolf sitings in the Northwest as the animals, hunted to extinction, made a comeback after they were listed for protection under the federal Endangered Species Act. That protection has expired in some parts of Washington, as well as other states.
