Bremerton Blackberry Festival

Star Party: Seattle Astronomical Society hosts telescopes for viewing the night sky and information for all ages, weather permitting; 8 p.m. Saturday, Paramount Park, Eighth Avenue Northeast and Northeast 155th Street, Shoreline; free (seattleastro.org).

Evergreen State Fair: Horse show, 4H animals, exhibits, demonstrations, carnival rides, contests, vendors, concerts, food, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday; Evergreen State Fairgrounds, 14405 179th Ave. S.E., Monroe; $5-$10, ages 5 and younger and 90 and older free; $5-$8 Monday (360-805-6700 or evergreenfair.org).
