‘66th Primetime Emmy Awards’

“MasterChef,” 8 p.m. (Fox): The remaining contestants receive hometown encouragement as they prepare savory apple dishes; while the challenge winner is safe from elimination, the other contestants form teams of two and make a variety of pot stickers.

“America’s Next Top Model” 9 p.m. (The CW): Semifinalists model various seasons in a limited amount of time during a rigorous subway challenge; a nighttime photo shoot at the beach gets steamy.

“Masterpiece Mystery!,” 8 p.m. (KBTC): “Poirot, Season 12: Dead Man’s Folly” — An old friend invites Poirot to a murder hunt game.

“Under the Dome,” 10 p.m. (CBS): Barbie is apprehended by mysterious men and relentlessly interrogated about the Dome; Big Jim forms a deal that could permanently seal the fate of the Chester’s Mill residents.

“Operation Change,” 10 p.m. (OWN): A village in Papua New Guinea has been overrun by decades of tribal warfare; the team works with the people of Saviza in implementing basic hygiene and planting trees; Snejana spends time with the local women as they tell stories of war and loss.
