‘Welcome to Sweden’
Based on actual events in the life of star Greg Poehler (brother to “Parks & Recreation” star Amy), this new comedy follows a New Yorker who moves to Sweden with his girlfriend. The series was shot on location in Stockholm, and co-stars Patrick Duffy and Illeana Douglas. And yes, Amy will make a guest appearance (as will Aubrey Plaza, Will Ferrell and Gene Simmons). Series premiere, 9:01 p.m. Thursday, July 10, on NBC (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
