TV picks for Sunday, May 11, 2014, include a new adaptation of “Rosemary’s Baby” on NBC, “Mr. Selfridge” on KCTS and “The Mentalist” on CBS.

‘Rosemary’s Baby’

“What have you done to its eyes?” Someone over at NBC programming has quite a warped sense of humor, scheduling the first part of this new four-hour adaptation of Ira Levin’s 1967 thriller on Mother’s Day (Roman Polanski famously adapted it into a 1968 film). The original New York location has been changed to Paris, where young married couple Rosemary and Guy Woodhouse (Zoe Saldana and Patrick J. Adams) discover they’re expecting. Jason Isaacs plays their mysterious neighbor, Roman Castevet. 9 p.m. Sunday, May 11 on NBC (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).

“Mad Men,” 10 p.m. (AMC): Don receives a visitor from his past; Stan embarrasses a superior; Ginsberg gets help from Peggy with a problem; Harry finds a new ally.
