‘Bad Teacher’

This TV adaptation of the 2011 feature film stars Ari Graynor as a former trophy wife who pretends to be a teacher in order to find a new man. David Alan Grier, Sara Gilbert and Kristin Davis lead the supporting cast. 9:31 p.m. Thursday, May 1, on CBS (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).

“Surviving Jack,” 9:30 p.m. (Fox): Jack hopes to get Rachel more involved in school by getting her a spot on the wrestling team, much to the chagrin of the coach (Neil Flynn); during their annual mother-son trip, Joanne realizes that Frankie is embarrassed to be seen with her.

“Vikings,” 10 p.m. (History): Ragnar and King Horik return to Kattegat; Ragnar places his trust in those who have stood by him.

“Sirens,” 10 p.m. (USA): After a brush with death, Theresa resolves to join the FBI; Johnny proposes to keep Theresa in Chicago.
