April 15 TV Picks: Series premiere of ‘Fargo’ on FX
TV picks for Tuesday, April 15, 2014, include a new series, “Fargo,” on FX; “NCIS” on CBS; and “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” on ABC.
This 10-episode limited series is being billed as an “original adaptation” of the feature film. Creator Noah Hawley — with the Coen brothers’ blessing — uses the same bleak/chilly setting as the 1996 movie, but with a new crime and characters (played by Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Colin Hanks and Allison Tolman). Series premiere, 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, on FX (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
