Where to see discounted movies:

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” and “Inside Llewyn Davis”

They’re new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug 3D,” “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” and “Saving Mr. Banks” ($3-$4.50).

“The Nut Job” and “Inside Llewyn Davis”

They’re new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle. Also there: “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” and “Saving Mr. Banks” ($5.75).

“Child’s Pose”

It’s new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: “The Lego Movie,” “August: Osage County” and “Frozen.” All seats on Tuesday are $7.

“Gravity”

It’s new at the Big Picture Seattle. Also there: “Dallas Buyers Club” and “American Hustle.” The 3:30 p.m. shows Friday and Saturday, the 1:30 p.m. show Sunday and the 6 p.m. show Thursday are $9.

“Clueless” and “Sin City”

They’re new at the Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $6-$8.

“Inside Llewyn Davis”

It plays at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.

They’re new at the Gateway in Federal Way. Also there: “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” (R-rated version), “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,” “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug 3D,” “I, Frankenstein,” “The Legend of Hercules,” “Thor: The Dark World” and “Walking with Dinosaurs” ($2, all seats on Tuesdays $1).
