Where to see discounted movies:

“Labor Day”

It’s new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “”Saving Mr. Banks,” “The Great Beauty” and “The Book Thief” ($3-$4.50).

“Saving Mr. Banks”

It continues at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle. Also there: “The Book Thief” and “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” ($5.75).

“Like Father, Like Son”

It’s new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: “The Lego Movie,” “August: Osage County” and “Frozen.” All seats on Tuesday are $7.

“The Monuments Men”

It continues at the Big Picture Seattle. The 3:30 p.m. show Saturday and the 6 p.m. shows Tuesday-Wednesday are $9.

“North by Northwest” and “Can’t Hardly Wait”

They’re new at the Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $6-$8.

“Blue is the Warmest Color”

It plays at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.

“Mandela: A Long Walk to Freedom”

It’s new at the East Valley 13 in Renton. Also there: “47 Ronin,” “Grudge Match,” “Walking with Dinosaurs,” “The Best Man Holiday,” “Thor: The Dark World,” “Ender’s Game,” “Free Birds,” “Escape Plan,” “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2,” “The Butler” and “Despicable Me 2” ($3.50).

“Nebraska,” “Mandela: A Long Walk to Freedom” and “I, Frankenstein 3D”

They’re new at the Gateway in Federal Way. Also there: “Saving Mr. Banks,” “The Legend of Hercules 3D,” “47 Ronin,” “Thor: The Dark World 3D,” “Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones,” “Delivery Man,” “Walking with Dinosaurs 3D” and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” ($2, all seats on Tuesdays $1).
