Where to see discounted movies:

“Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom”

It’s new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,” “The Book Thief,” “Captain Phillips” and “Thor: The Dark World” ($3-$4.50).

“The Book Thief”

It’s new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle. Also there: “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” and “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” ($5.75).

“The Lego Movie” and “August: Osage County”

They continue at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: “Frozen” and “12 Years a Slave.” All seats on Tuesday are $7.

“The Monuments Men”

It continues at the Big Picture Seattle. The 3:30 p.m. show Friday and Saturday, the 1 and 3:30 p.m. shows Sunday and the 6 p.m. shows Monday-Thursday are $9.

“Pretty in Pink” and “She’s All That”

They’re new at the Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $6-$8.

“About Time”

It plays at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.

“47 Ronin”

It’s new at the East Valley 13 in Renton. Also there: “Grudge Match,” “Walking with Dinosaurs,” “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,” “The Best Man Holiday,” “Thor: The Dark World,” “Ender’s Game,” “Free Birds,” “Escape Plan,” “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2,” “The Butler” and “Despicable Me 2” ($3.50).

“Devil’s Due” and “47 Ronin 3D”

They’re new at the Gateway in Federal Way. Also there: “Thor: The Dark World 3D,” “Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones,” “Grudge Match,” “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,” “A Madea Christmas,” “Delivery Man,” “Walking with Dinosaurs 3D,” “Ender’s Game” and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 3D” ($2, all seats on Tuesdays $1).
