Where to see discounted movies:

“Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” and “Grudge Match”

They’re new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “The Book Thief,” “Captain Phillips” and “Thor: The Dark World” ($3-$4.50).

They’re new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle. Also there: “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” ($5.75).

“The Lego Movie” and “August: Osage County”

They’re new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: “Frozen” and “12 Years a Slave.” All seats on Tuesday are $7.

“The Monuments Men”

It’s new at the Big Picture Seattle. The 3:30 p.m. show Friday, the 1 and 3:30 p.m. shows Saturday-Sunday and the 6 p.m. shows Monday-Thursday are $9.

They’re new at the Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $6-$8.

It plays at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.

They’re new at the Gateway in Federal Way. Also there: “A Madea Christmas,” “Delivery Man,” “Captain Phillips,” “The Book Thief,” “Walking with Dinosaurs 3D,” “Ender’s Game” and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 3D” ($2, all seats on Tuesdays $1).
