Where to see discounted movies:

“The Book Thief” and “Out of the Furnace”

They’re new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “Captain Phillips,” “Thor: The Dark World 3D” and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” ($3-$4.50).

“Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom” and “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”

They’re new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle Also there: “Captain Phillips” ($5.75).

“The Invisible Woman”

It continues at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: “Frozen” and “12 Years a Slave.” All seats on Tuesday are $7.

“American Hustle”

It continues at the Big Picture Seattle. The 3 p.m. show Saturday and the 5:50 p.m. shows Monday-Thursday are $9.
