Where to see discounted movies:

“Captain Phillips” and “Thor: The Dark World 3D”

They’re new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “All is Lost,” “Ender’s Game” and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” ($3-$4.50).

“Thor: The Dark World,” “Captain Phillips” and “Walking with Dinosaurs”

They’re new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle. Also there: “The Great Beauty” ($5.75).

“The Invisible Woman”

It’s new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: “Frozen,” “12 Years a Slave” and “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.” All seats on Tuesday are $7.

“American Hustle”

It continues at the Big Picture Seattle. The 3 p.m. show Saturday-Sunday and the 5:50 p.m. shows Monday-Thursday are $9.

“The Third Man” and “Fight Club”

They’re new at the Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $6-$8.

It plays at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.
