Where to see discounted movies:

“All Is Lost” and “Walking with Dinosaurs”

They’re new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “About Time,” “The Butler,” “Ender’s Game” and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” ($3-$4.50).

“Free Birds” and “Good Ol’ Freda”

They’re new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle. Also there: “All Is Lost” and “The Great Beauty” ($5.75).

“Frozen”

It’s new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: “12 Years a Slave,” “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” and “Saving Mr. Banks.” All seats on Tuesday are $7.

“American Hustle”

It continues at the Big Picture Seattle. The 3 p.m. show Saturday, the 12:15 and 3 p.m. shows Sunday and Monday, and the 5:50 p.m. shows Monday-Wednesday are $9.

“Big” and “A Clockwork Orange”

They’re new at the Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $6-$8.

“The Butler”

It plays at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.

“Walking with Dinosaurs,” “Out of the Furnace,” “The Best Man Holiday” and “Thor: The Dark World”

They’re new at the East Valley 13 in Renton. Also there: “The Butler,” “Ender’s Game,” “Free Birds,” “Bad Grandpa,” “Escape Plan,” “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2,” “Rush,” “Despicable Me 2” and “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters” ($3.50).

“Homefront,” “Walking with Dinosaurs 3D” and “Out of the Furnace”

They’re new at the Gateway in Federal Way. Also there: “The Butler,” “Ender’s Game,” “Free Birds 3D,” “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 3D,” “Last Vegas,” “Bad Grandpa,” “Escape Plan” and “Despicable Me 2” ($2, all seats on Tuesdays $1).
