Where to see discounted movies:

“About Time”

It’s new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “The Butler,” “Ender’s Game,” “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” and “Enough Said” ($3-$4.50).

“All is Lost” and “The Great Beauty”

They’re new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle. Also there: “The Butler” and Ender’s Game” ($5.75).

“12 Years a Slave”

It’s new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” and “Saving Mr. Banks.” All seats on Tuesday are $7.

“American Hustle”

It continues at the Big Picture Seattle. The 3 p.m. shows Saturday-Sunday and the 5:50 p.m. shows Monday-Thursday are $9.

“The Muppet Movie” and “The Boondock Saints”

They’re new at the Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $6-$8.

“Prisoners”

It plays at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.

“About Time”

It’s new at the East Valley 13 in Renton. Also there: “The Butler,” “Ender’s Game,” “Free Birds,” “Bad Grandpa,” “Carrie,” “Escape Plan,” “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2,” “Rush,” “The Family,” “Despicable Me 2,” “Elysium,” “We’re the Millers” and “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters” ($3.50).

It’s new at the Gateway in Federal Way. Also there: “The Butler,” “Ender’s Game,” “Free Birds 3D,” “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 3D,” “Carrie,” “Last Vegas,” “Bad Grandpa,” “Escape Plan” and “Despicable Me 2 3D” ($2, all seats on Tuesdays $1).
