‘Race: Are We So Different?’

The exhibit “Race: Are We So Different?” ends its run at the Pacific Science Center Sunday. The traveling exhibit, which opened in Seattle Sept. 28, aims to prompt visitors to consider not just what race is — but what it is not, through the use of interactive components, artifacts, photographs, multimedia presentations and scientific findings.

The show was created by the Science Museum of Minnesota in collaboration with the American Anthropological Association.

10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays-Fridays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays-Sundays, Pacific Science Center, Seattle Center; $10-$18 (206-443-2001 or www.pacificsciencecenter.org). For a collection of stories and columns about the exhibit, visit www.seattletimes.com and search “race project.”
