From a ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ singalong to ‘Elf’
Screenings and events in the Seattle area include a singalong version of “Fiddler on the Roof”; a “Framing Pictures” film discussion; and several holiday movies, including “Holy Night,” “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “Elf.”

“Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match.” A singalong version of Norman Jewison’s 1971 film version of “Fiddler on the Roof” comes to SIFF Cinema at the Uptown at 1 p.m. on Christmas Day. Tickets are $15 for SIFF members, $20 general admission. 511 Queen Anne Ave. N., Seattle. The “quote along” edition of “The Princess Bride” and the “Smell-O-Vision” version of “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” continue at SIFF Cinema at the Film Center (Northwest Rooms, Seattle Center) through Tuesday. “Framing Pictures,” a free film discussion featuring Richard Jameson, Robert Horton, Kathleen Murphy and Bruce Reid, happens at 6 p.m. Friday at the Northwest Film Forum (followed by the annual NWFF holiday party).
