Where to see discounted movies:

“Enough Said” and “Wadjda”

They’re new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “Don Jon,” “Blue Jasmine” and “Despicable Me 2” ($3-$4.50).

“The Butler,” “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” and “Carrie”

They’re new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle ($5.75).

“20 Feet from Stardom”

It’s new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: “The Great Beauty,” “Frozen” and “Captain Phillips.” All seats on Tuesday are $7.

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”

It continues at the Big Picture Seattle. The 2:45 p.m. shows Saturday-Sunday and the 5:45 p.m. shows Monday-Tuesday are $9.

“Gremlins” and “Edward Scissorhands”

They’re new at the Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $6-$8.

“Elf”

It plays at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.

“Carrie” and “Escape Plan”

They’re new at the East Valley 13 in Renton. Also there: “The Counselor,” “Don Juan,” “Rush,” “Insidious: Chapter 2,” “The Family,” “Despicable Me 2,” “Elysium,” “We’re the Millers” and “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters” ($3.50).

“The Counselor,” “Carrie,” “The Wizard of Oz 3D” and “Escape Plan”

They’re new at the Gateway in Federal Way. Also there: “Don Jon,” “Rush,” “Riddick,” “Insidious: Chapter 2,” “Despicable Me 2 3D,” “We’re the Millers” and “Turbo” ($2, all seats on Tuesdays $1).
