Where to see discounted movies:

“Rush” and “The Family”

They’re new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “Blue Jasmine” and “Despicable Me 2 3D” ($3-$4.50).

“Rush” and “Muscle Shoals”

They’re new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle Also there: “Blue Jasmine” and “Despicable Me 2” ($5.75).

“Frozen” and “The Great Beauty”

They’re new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: “Captain Phillips” and “Broken Circle Breakdown.” All seats on Tuesday are $7.

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”

It continues at the Big Picture Seattle. The 2:45 p.m. shows Saturday-Sunday and the 5:45 p.m. shows Monday-Wednesday are $9.

“Casablanca” and “Donnie Darko”

They’re new at the Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $6-$8.

“The World’s End”

It plays at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.

They’re new at the Gateway in Federal Way. Also there: “The Family,” “Instructions Not Included,” “Insidious: Chapter 2,” “Elysium,” “Despicable Me 2 3D,” “We’re the Millers,” “Planes,” “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters,” “Turbo” and “Monsters University”($2, all seats on Tuesdays $1).
