Where to see discounted movies:

“The Spectacular Now” and “Turbo”

They’re new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “The Way Way Back,” “The Wolverine,” “This Is the End” and “Monsters University” ($3-$4.50).

“The Family,” “The Spectacular Now” and “Planes”

They’re new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle. Also there: “Turbo” ($5.75).

“A.C.O.D.”

It’s new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: “Haute Cuisine” and “Don Jon.” All seats on Tuesday are $7.

“Rush”

It’s new at the Big Picture Seattle. The 3:30 p.m. shows Saturday-Sunday and the 6 p.m. shows Monday-Thursday are $8.50.

“Little Shop of Horrors” and “American Movie”

They’re new at the Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $6-$8.

“Much Ado About Nothing”

It plays at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.

“Kick-Ass 2,” “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters” and “2 Guns”

They’re new at the East Valley 13 in Renton. Also there: “The World’s End,” “The Smurfs 2,” “The Wolverine,” “Red 2,” “Turbo,” “Monsters University,” “The Heat,” “Grown Ups 2” and “Pacific Rim” ($3.50).

“Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters 3D”

It’s new at the Gateway in Federal Way. Also there: “You’re Next,” “2 Guns,” “The Smurfs 3D,” “Turbo 3D,” “Red 2,” “The Heat,” “Monsters University 3D,” “The Wolverine” and “Grown Ups 2”($2, all seats on Tuesdays $1).
