3.5 stars “The Gatekeepers” (PG-13): Dror Moreh’s Oscar-nominated documentary is built around revealing interviews with past directors of Israel’s counterterrorism agency, Shin Bet — all of whom regret their country’s problems achieving peace with Palestinians.

2.5 stars“Admission” (PG-13): Based on the 2009 novel by Jean Hanff Korelitz, this faintly comedic drama follows an admissions officer (Tina Fey) who becomes rattled by a teacher (Paul Rudd) at an experimental high school she visits, by the sudden departure of her boyfriend (Michael Sheen), by her troubled relationship with her mother (Lily Tomlin) and by the possibility that a teenager at the school (Nat Wolff) might be the child she secretly placed for adoption 18 years ago.

2.5 stars“Spring Breakers” (R): Writer/director Harmony Korine’s bacchanal of bikinis, babes (Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens and Rachel Korine) and bad behavior.

1.5 stars“The Host” (PG-13): Three bodies (Saoirse Ronan, Jake Abel and Max Irons) and four identities (an alien invades the body of the girl, where the two now coexist and have conversations with each other) make up this sci-fi love “square,” based on a book by “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer.

1.5 stars“Tyler Perry’s Temptation” (PG-13): A married woman (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) is seduced by a rich Internet tycoon (Robbie Jones) in this cautionary tale about wanting what you haven’t got.
