Where to see discounted movies:

“Argo”

It’s new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “The Impossible,” “Lincoln” and “The Hobbit 3D” ($3).

“Argo”

It’s new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle. Also there: “Lincoln” ($5.75).

“The Silence”

It’s new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: “The Waiting Room,” “West of Memphis” and “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.” All seats Tuesday are $7.

“Young Frankenstein”

It’s the midnight movie at the Egyptian Friday and Saturday. All seats are $8.25.

“Silver Linings Playbook”

It’s new at the Big Picture Seattle. The 3:30 p.m. show on Sunday and the 6 p.m. shows Monday-Thursday are $8.50.
