Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebrations

Celebrate the timeless stories of Dr. Seuss at the Hats Off to Reading event with storytelling featuring “The Cat in the Hat,” treats, “cat-tivities,” and information on Nook books and apps, 11 a.m. Saturday, Barnes & Noble Alderwood, 19401 Alderwood Parkway, Lynnwood; free (425-771-2220).
