Movie bargains
Where to see discounted movies:
“Rise of the Guardians” and “Hyde Park on Hudson”
They’re new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “Skyfall,” “Wreck-It Ralph 3D” and The Master” ($3).
“Breaking Dawn — Part 2” and “Rise of the Guardians”
They’re new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle. Also there: “Skyfall” and “Wreck-It Ralph” ($5.75).
“Happy People: A Year in the Taiga” and “Zero Dark Thirty”
They’re new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: “Argo.” All seats Tuesday are $7.
“Bubba Ho-Tep”
It's the midnight movie at the Egyptian Friday and Saturday. All seats are $8.25.
“Identity Thief”
It continues at the Big Picture Seattle. The 3:45 p.m. shows Saturday-Sunday, the 3:30 and 6 p.m. shows Monday and the 6 p.m. shows Tuesday-Thursday are $8.50.
“Clueless” and “Serenity”
They’re new at the Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $6-$8.
“The Perks of Being a Wallflower”
It plays at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.
“Rise of the Guardians”
It’s new at the East Valley 13 in Renton. Also there: “Flight,” “End of Watch” and “Ice Age: Continental Drift” ($3.50).
“This is 40,” “Rise of the Guardians 3D” and “Breaking Dawn — Part 2”
They’re new at the Gateway in Federal Way. Also there: “Skyfall,” “Texas Chainsaw 3D,” ($2, all seats on Tuesdays $1).
