“The Last Stand”: Arnold Schwarzenegger and Forest Whitaker star in this new crime drama. It also has midnight previews on Thursday and opens Friday at several theaters.

“Free Radicals”: This documentary looks at the history of avant-garde cinema. It opens Friday at the Grand Illusion.

“Law in These Parts”: Ra’anan Alexandrowicz’s documentary that presents a case against the occupation of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. It opens Friday at the Northwest Film Forum.
