Oscar nominations announced for supporting actress

The 85th annual Academy Award nominations for supporting actress in a motion picture have been announced in Beverly Hills, Calif., by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. —

The 85th annual Academy Award nominations for supporting actress in a motion picture have been announced in Beverly Hills, Calif., by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The nominees announced Thursday morning are: Amy Adams, "The Master"; Sally Field, "Lincoln"; Anne Hathaway, "Les Miserables"; Helen Hunt, "The Sessions"; Jacki Weaver, "Silver Linings Playbook."

The Oscars will be presented Feb. 24 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, hosted by Seth MacFarlane and airing live on ABC.
