Mark your calendars. Sunday marks National Rubber Ducky Day, and that means the Seattle Children’s Museum is teaming with Seattle Ride the Ducks to get kids moving.

Activities include water races that require kids to pump water and move their ducky down the track. There will also be races that require children to push duckies down the track using a mallet. “It is one of our staff’s favorite games, and it gets the heart pumping,” says Jennifer Ross, director of communications for the museum.

The program includes “Quacky Storytimes,” “Sink or Float” science demonstrations and of course, ducky parades in which kids can use their Ride the Duck Quackers (being given away upon entering the museum) to join in the noisy fun.

The celebration will be from 10 a.m., to 6 p.m. at the museum (on the Seattle Center grounds). Kids from 10 months to 10 years are welcome. The events are free with $7.50 admission into the museum.
