Where to see discounted movies:

“Cloud Atlas” and “Chasing Ice”

They’re new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “Hotel Transylvania 3D” and “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” ($3).

“Cloud Atlas”

It’s new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle. Also there: “Pitch Perfect,” “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” and “Taken 2” ($5.75).

“Promised Land”

It’s new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: “Django Unchained” and “Argo.” All seats Tuesday are $7.

“Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”

It's the midnight movie at the Egyptian Friday and Saturday. All seats are $8.25.

“This is 40”

It continues at the Big Picture Seattle. The 3:15 p.m. shows Saturday-Sunday and the 6 p.m. shows Monday-Wednesday are $8.50.

“Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” and “Evil Dead 2”

They’re new at the Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $6-$8.

“Looper”

It plays at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.

It’s new at the Gateway in Federal Way. Also there: “Hotel Transylvania 3D,” “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” “End of Watch,” “Here Comes the Boom,” “Taken 2,” “Frankenweenie,” “Pitch Perfect,” “Sinister,” “Finding Nemo 3D,” “Brave 3D” and “Ice Age: Continental Drift” ($2, all seats on Tuesdays $1).
