Our happy hour this week tests your resolve to stick to that weight-loss resolution. It’s the $7, late-night, all-you-can-eat cheese deal at the ART Lounge, inside the Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle.

It’s evil. Just pure evil.

It’s a spread of gourmet cheeses, flanked by tapenade and antipasto. There are crackers and crusty bread to accompany the salty noshes and wines (on tap for $6-$8).

The cheese spread varies weekly, with a variety of European and regional offerings. Last week’s spread included a creamy truffle goat cheese and a nutty Spanish Manchego. And a glass of sweet white with that briny, buttery blue cheese was just heavenly.

The cheese spread is a Four Seasons staple. It used to be more of a feast and a sensory overload with two dozen blocks and wedges of cheese. It also used to cost more.

Now, the spread features about a dozen cheese varieties. For only $7? It’s just about perfect after the symphony or a show downtown.

ART Lounge, 99 Union St., inside the Four Seasons Hotel, offers an all-you-can-eat cheese and antipasto spread. Cost is $7 from 9-11 p.m. daily and $14 from 5 -9 p.m. Happy hour is also offered from 5-7 p.m. daily with $3-$10 bar snacks and small plates; $5 beer; $7 cocktails; and glasses of wine for $6-$8 (206-749-7070 or www.artrestaurantseattle.com).
