Discover the Eastside's 21st-century ethnic diversity during this weekend's Cultural Crossroads Festival.

This annual shindig at the Crossroads Bellevue shopping center, in cooperation with the Ethnic Heritage Council, features three days of music and dance, an international bazaar (featuring holiday gifts and ornaments, such as those pictured here), plus exhibits and food from around the globe.

In a Friday night event favorite, Rouge & Noir Tango Orchestra will bring out the tango dancer in everyone, with a free tango lesson by Patty Leverett. Saturday afternoon, watch the classical dances of Orissa, India, by the Urvasi Dance Ensemble. Other entertainment spotlights cultures of Chile, the Balkans, Bulgaria, Russia, China, Egypt and more.

For kids, there's an international, interactive Lego display, plus a display of more than 130 dolls in ethnic dress from around the world.
