Art in the Garden
The third annual sculpture and garden-art show featuring work by 25 Northwest artists blooms in Bellevue Botanical Garden today. Placed around the garden are ornaments, benches and lighting, bird baths and large-scale sculptures. George Ciardi
The Seattle photographer's beautifully illuminated and composed images of warehouses, grain elevators and rail junctions are on show in "Artificial Daylight." Ugly during the day, or at least unremarkable, his subjects become eerily fascinating at night, when he photographs them using only existing light. 1 p.m.-7 p.m. Wednesdays-Fridays, 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays-Sundays through Sept. 9, Blindfold Gallery, 1718 E. Olive Way, Suite A, Seattle (206-328-5100 or www.blindfoldgallery.com).
