Streets near large July Fourth events may be closed or otherwise restricted, so parking and access may be limited. Alcohol is forbidden at parks, though some large festivals offer beer gardens. Personal fireworks aren't allowed and most events don't allow pets.

3rd of July Fireworks Show & Festival

Vendors, entertainment, fireworks display over Liberty Bay, noon-10:30 p.m. Tuesday, downtown Poulsbo, Front Street, Poulsbo (www.ThirdofJuly.org).

Family Fourth at Lake Union

Gates open at noon Wednesday at Gas Works Park. Entertainment, food vendors, activities, beer garden, live music, fireworks at 10 p.m. Gas Works Park, Seattle; food-bank donations suggested; some area streets closed, parking extremely limited.
