Weekend Preview: The Fremont Fair, yachts and marine life

A lineup of entertainment options for the weekend of June 15-17, 2012. The options include the Fremont Fair/Solstice Parade, a classic-yacht parade on Elliott Bay and a chance to explore Puget Sound beaches at low tide. Films opening Friday include "Rock of Ages," "Your Sister's Sister," "Hysteria" and "Keyhole."

At the movies

"Rock of Ages": This new film adaptation of a Broadway musical comes from director Adam Shankman ("Hairspray") and features Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Mary J. Blige and Tom Cruise. It has midnight previews Thursday, and opens Friday at several theaters.

"Your Sister's Sister": This year's opener at SIFF is a sibling comedy set in the Northwest, directed by Lynn Shelton. It opens Friday at the Egyptian and Lincoln Square Cinemas.
