Holiday Entertainment: Sales of fine art, arts and crafts
Bainbridge Island's "Christmas in the Country," a self-guided driving tour that stops by cottage industries and nonprofit venues, opens Dec. 3. Other holiday arts shopping ideas include the Bellevue College Winter Holiday Sale Dec. 2. and Seattle Sampling, a self-guided tour of artists' studios and homes Dec. 3-5.

Home for the Holidays Show and Sale
Through Dec. 31 A show and sale of holiday-themed art with locally crafted glass, pottery, jewelry, fine art and more. The gallery hosts its annual Shop 'N Nosh event from noon-7 p.m. on Dec. 3. East Shore Holiday Show and Sale
Thursday through Jan. 3 Annual holiday show featuring the arts and crafts of 30 area artists. Gift items and collectibles will include paintings, prints, ceramics, jewelry, wall sculptures, ornaments, cards and clothing. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Bellevue College Winter Holiday Sale
