Seattle and the Eastside ring in the new year with rock, jazz, comedy, classical music, theater — and a slew of big bashes.
New Year's Eve. Some like it straight up: loud and crowded. Some like it on ice: cool and mellow. Whatever your preference, there's a party around town ready to serve it up. This list includes concerts, comedy shows and cultural pursuits for all tastes. But bear in mind it's not exhaustive. Federal Way Symphony: New Year's Eve Pops Concert
Federal Way Symphony's Second Annual New Year's Eve Pops Concert, "Bite With A Beat." Laird Thornton, frequent performer with the Seattle Opera and local developer of high-school musical-theater programs in the area, will headline the event.
