Ray Lewis' outsized impact on the NFL
Every athlete reaches that age of reckoning but I've still been reading about Baltimore Ravens' retiring LB Ray Lewis with a modicum of surprise. I know, he's 37. It had to happen. But not to Lewis, whom a brilliant documentary, The NFL Network's Ray Lewis: A Football Life portrayed as larger than life. Forbes magazine predictably has an eye on Lewis' lucrative post-NFL future.
Lewis made mistakes in his life. I refer you to the documentary for details. He also made a huge impact on sports.
