The San Francisco-based Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence has a map on its website, which lays out the status of gun laws across the United States. Washington gets a “C” grade in the current rating of laws on the books.

The Seattle Times editorial Thursday, Time To Embrace Sensible Gun Laws, looks at recommendations proposed to the state Legislature by the Seattle City Council. They are a good place to start.
