Please rate 2012 Olympics coverage: gold, silver or bronze?
My interest in the Olympics has been salvaged by the gold-medal performance of - oh my, is this a spoiler?
...Bremerton's Nathan Adrian. I cannot wait to see his win in the 100-meter freestyle. Credit a combination of regional pride and the unexpected. He was not supposed to win.
I've been watching in the evening, but my memory card is filling with bits and pieces of Twitter feuds, badminton scanals and way too much air time for Michael Phelps. Nineteen medals. OK, fine. More? Sure, fine.
The opening ceremonies of the 2012 games pretty much set the tone. Be honest now, are you watching more or less of NBC's presentation during prime time? Maximizing eyeballs on ads. Lots of that going around.
