The economic recovery remains anemic. The unemployment rate remained unchanged at 8.2 percent in June, according to this AP story. We call this a recovery?
Locally, home prices in King County are picking up slightly, according to this Seattle Times news story by Eric Pryne. The median home price went up by double digits, the first time that's happened in five years to $380,000. That represented an increase of 10.1 percent between June 2011 and June 2012.
