• The Cougars a couple of tough nonconference opponents — at home against No. 19 Ohio State on Dec. 15, and at No. 9 Louisville on Dec. 18.

• WSU upset USC on its Galen Center court to advance to the semifinals in the Pac-12 tournament last season. The rematch is Jan. 13 in L.A.

• Stanford is ranked No. 4 and has never lost to the Cougars in 53 meetings. WSU gets its next shot in Pullman, on March 2.

• The Pac-12 tournament moves to KeyArena, from March 7-10.
