Washington State women rout UC Riverside, 74-35

The Cougars only led 23-15 at halftime after shooting 23 percent from the field. Riverside (1-7) pulled within 28-21 when Jazzmin Lewis hit a 3-pointer a little over a minute into the second half, but the Cougars (6-4) scored the next 23 points to go ahead 51-21.
Ireti Amojo added 12 points for Washington State and Hana Potter chipped in 10. Twelve Cougars scored in the game.
The Cougars had 17 steals and outrebounded Riverside 50-35, and reserves - led by Tarnowski - outscored Riverside 44-2.
Natasha Hadley led UCR with 15 points.
