Washington State running back James Montgomery cited for marijuana possession

James Montgomery, Washington State football's leading rusher last fall, was cited for misdemeanor marijuana possession here over the weekend, according to the Spokane Spokesman-Review.

PULLMAN — James Montgomery, Washington State football's leading rusher last fall, was cited for misdemeanor marijuana possession here over the weekend, according to the Spokane Spokesman-Review.

Montgomery was a fifth-year senior, but is petitioning the NCAA for a sixth year.

Last week, WSU redshirt freshman cornerback Tracy Clark of Pittsburg, Calif., was arrested on suspicion of theft of a laptop computer in Streit Hall, a dormitory. He was suspended from the team.
