No. 13 Oregon gets past Ole Miss in overtime

Mike Moser scored 24 points and Johnathan Loyd added 23 points and 15 assists to lead 13th-ranked Oregon to a 115-105 victory at Mississippi. The Ducks are 8-0.

OXFORD, Miss. – Mike Moser scored 22 of his 24 points in the second half and overtime to lead No. 13 Oregon past Mississippi 115-105 on Sunday.

Johnathan Loyd added 23 points and 15 assists for the Ducks (8-0), who shot 58.5 percent from the field.

Senior Marshall Henderson scored a career-high 39 points for Ole Miss (6-2).

“We were so happy we were scoring, we forgot to guard,” Oregon coach Dana Altman said.

Season is over for Bright

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford reserve guard Aaron Bright, a former Bellevue High standout, will miss the rest of the season with a dislocated right shoulder suffered in a practice.

Bright, a senior who is expected to graduate in June, has elected to have surgery next month.

“It’s a really tough blow,” he said.

In 105 games for the Cardinal, Bright averaged 8.7 points. His 316 career assists rank 10th in school history.

Other games

Julian Jacobs scored 16 points and host USC beat Boston College 78-62 to improve to 6-3.

The Trojans are 5-0 at home.

Brad Waldow scored 24 points on 9-for-13 shooting as Saint Mary’s beat visiting Eastern Washington 93-65 to rise to 7-0.

Tyler Harvey led the Eagles (5-3) with 20 points.
