PULLMAN — Ariel Thomas' tiebreaking three-pointer with 28 seconds remaining helped Oregon beat Washington State 70-68 Friday night to win its first Pac-12 game of the season.

Thomas, who finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, also made two free throws in the closing seconds as the Ducks (3-16, 1-6) ended an eight-game losing streak and won for the first time in nine games away from home.

Tia Presley led the Cougars (5-13, 1-6) with 16 points and Lia Galdeira scored 13.

Gennifer Brandon had 13 points, 10 rebounds and a key block with 20 seconds left for the Golden Bears (16-2, 6-1). Cal trailed by 16 in the first half before rallying for its fourth win over a ranked team in the past three weeks.

Brittany Wilson had 11 points and five rebounds but missed a potential game-tying shot as time expired, ending a four-game winning streak for the Buffaloes (15-3, 4-3).

The Sun Devils rallied from a 16-point deficit, giving coach Charli Turner Thorne her 300th win at ASU. Janae Fulcher and Promise Amukamara each scored nine points for the Sun Devils (11-8, 3-4). Cassie Harberts had 24 points and 14 rebounds for the Trojans (7-11, 4-3).
