No. 6 Stanford women beat 14th-ranked UCLA | College basketball

Chiney Ogwumike had 25 points and 13 rebounds to lead No. 6 Stanford past 14th-ranked UCLA 75-49 in a Pac-12 women's showdown.

STANFORD, Calif. — Chiney Ogwumike had 25 points and 13 rebounds to lead No. 6 Stanford past 14th-ranked UCLA 75-49 on Friday night in a victory that throws the Pac-12 race wide open.

Joslyn Tinkle added 16 points and Amber Orrange had 15 for the Cardinal (15-2 overall, 4-1 Pac-12), which avoided its first three-game home losing streak in 26 years.

The Cardinal shot 53 percent and held the Pac-12's highest-scoring team to a season low in points.

Alyssia Brewer scored 14 points to lead the Bruins (13-3, 4-1), who had won six in a row. Thea Lemberger added 12 points and Atonye Nyingifa had 11.

Stanford led 36-24 at halftime and opened the second half with a 13-2 run.

Stanford, UCLA, California and USC are tied for first place.

Chucky Jeffery collected 19 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Buffaloes (14-2, 3-2 Pac-12) past the Sun Devils (10-7, 2-3).

Freshman Haley Videckis led Arizona State with 11 points.

Arizona 62, at Utah 58

Guard Davellyn Whyte had 23 points, 11 rebounds and six steals to help the Wildcats (11-5, 3-2) defeat the Utes (9-7, 0-5).

Michelle Plouffe had 18 points, nine rebounds and five steals for Utah.
